Emergency care has always been a part of the history. From the time wars used to rage in the battlefields to the present time when cities are plagued with different epidemics, man has found ways to care for those who are in need at the right time. Though ambulances were considered to be just the means of transportation to take the patient to the nearest hospital, it is one of the most crucial parts of emergency treatments. There are times when a person requires immediate medical care or medical treatments due to major accidents or massive injuries. 

The goal of any emergency medical service department is to either provide treatment to victims or patients who are in need of immediate medical attention, with the aim of satisfactorily treating the persisting conditions, or arranging for the timely transport of a patient from one hospital to the point of next definitive care. It is also recommended that the government should provide training for emergency situations to civilians so that casualties can be reduced.
